Requisition Summary

PACCAR Corporate Emission Compliance team is looking for a Certification & Compliance Engineer to lead the EPA and CARB engine emission regulation and its interpretation. This role involves interactions throughout the PACCAR organization as well as EPA, CARB and EMA. The successful candidate will be involved in leading PACCAR's position on engine regulation, its interpretation and its impact on PACCAR engines.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

Understands EPA and CARB existing and upcoming Emission regulations
Actively participates in EPA, CARB and EMA meetings about regulation development
Works with different teams within the organization including DAF for engine development efforts
Provides regulatory updates on PACCAR MX engines.
Acts as a subject matter expert
Supports Engine certification

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of industry-related knowledge including an understanding of EPA and CARB regulations
Understanding of AECD is required
Self-starter who effectively works under limited supervision.
Basic understanding of engine and aftertreatment function and parts.
Awareness of the Emission measurement, OBD will be helpful.
Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
