Job Description

As an accounting and financial reporting specialist within Corporate Financial Reporting, you'll be responsible for SEC financial reporting including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual SEC filings. You'll assist with research topics and compliance reporting and monitoring, partnering with the broader GAAP/SEC team. In addition, you’ll perform reviews and analysis, update company accounting and reporting policies and procedures, and assist in research and completion of assigned projects/initiatives all the while working toward more in-depth assignments.  

Must-have qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of 2 years' of accounting work experience.
This position requires online pre-employment testing for external candidates

Preferred skills

SEC & GAAP accounting experience highly preferred.  
Strong technical accounting skills, knowledge of internal accounting controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control documentation standards.
Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening skills. Ability to identify and communicate accounting & financial reporting issues to management.
Timeliness, accuracy, attention to detail, and precise documentation. Ability to meet internal and/or external deadlines.
Ability to take direction and then work independently to complete tasks while considering broader implications or additional analysis
Organization skills (planning, time management, priority management)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation

Salary $54,800 - $73,100/year
Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
