Position Overview:
Collins Aerospace is looking for a Structural Engineering Intern. This position includes assisting with the derivation of component applied loads and interface loads, performing stress analysis, and documenting the results in a formal report using Microsoft Word, pursuant to obtaining FAA certification.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis of a basic nature using conventional classical stress analysis and finite element analysis (Ansys preferred).
Work to pre-established design parameters to assess the structural integrity of metallic aerospace component parts.
Develop and document structural tests to assess structural integrity of component parts.
Basic Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a US Citizen
