Job Description:
Construction Digital & Technology (CD&T) leads Construction Industries to define, develop, deploy & support Site Automation & Autonomy (A&A) systems. As an A&A Site Tech Lead within CD&T you will lead the end-to-end development of Automation & Autonomy site solutions to solve customer needs. Site Automation & Autonomy solutions are comprised of (1) increasingly automated and autonomous capable machines, (2) remote control systems and (3) site systems along with insights to maximize site productivity at the customers jobsites.
The incumbent selected for this A&A Site Tech Lead role will be focused on Heavy Construction related site automation and autonomy applications / products.
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with customers to capture / create workflows and a Concept of Operations (ConOps) setting the vision for the application of new technology
Develop and maintain the solution functional requirements and MGPP (Multi-Generation Product Plan)
Own the end-to-end engineering overall solution comprised of base machine, on-board, and off-board technologies which includes but is not limited to coordination of the global development team; budget forecasting/cost tracking; reporting out; and meeting NTI/NPI (New Technology Introduction/New Product Introduction) timelines and deliverables
Become a hands-on technical expert understanding how to use and apply the technology
Support the full product lifecycle including quality targets, change control, product maintenance, and trouble shooting
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
At least 8 years’ experience in technology product development
Experience leading cross functional teams to develop technology products
Experience developing automation/autonomy technology for heavy equipment and/or mobile robotic systems

Demonstrated ability to lead teams to develop technology through a large global matrix organization
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
