We are looking for a Junior System Administrator in our Broadcast & Media Technology group to join our Fox News family. As a Junior System Administrator, you will support and troubleshoot our Digital Newsroom applications (Dalet, Nexio, VizOne, Adobe). You will be part of a 10 member team supporting DC, NY and AWS cloud-based resources.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and troubleshoot our Media Asset Management (MAM) systems: Dalet Galaxy, and VizOne
Support and troubleshoot our Video Playout applications: Imagine NEXIO, and VizRT systems
Support and troubleshoot editing environments: Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects
Troubleshoot hardware issues in a broadcast production environment
Run performance diagnostics and perform proactive system health checks
Perform planned and emergency maintenance upgrades of software and equipment
Assist with planning, deployment and testing our next-generation cloud-based MAM system
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Media Asset Management (MAM) administration or support experience
Linux (RHEL) experience
Broadcast (ingest or playout) systems knowledge
DB2 or MS-SQL Database knowledge
This position requires some rotating evening or weekend shift work
The job may require you to perform infrequent hardware maintenance including removing, lifting and replacing equipment in server racks
