Responsible for monitoring global Semiconductor OSAT/Capex market, competitive research and market trend analysis.  Development of forecast models across the technology industry covering road maps, manufacturing utilization, revenue guidance, capex spending and fabless companies loading strategies. Utilizing forecast models to understand and define critical issues or concerns with internal stakeholders.  This position requires knowledge of the semiconductor OSAT/Capex fabrication, technology roadmaps and specific expertise in the deployment of OSAT/Capex strategies.  The work is of a complex nature involving a considerable amount of initiative, analytical thinking, and a high level of independent judgment.

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.

Required Critical Skills:

Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships

Experience with semiconductors and wafer fabrication and OSAT processes

Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to gather relevant information systematically by considering a broad range of complex issues

Proven ability to take decisive action and deliver tangible results in a cross-functional organization

Developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines

Proficient with Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI

Preferred Critical Skills:

Knowledge of GM Systems and GM processes

Knowledge of wafer fabrication process and OSAT processes

Capable of interpreting market data

Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents

Ability to work globally, independent, and self-directed

Experience moving seamlessly from strategy to execution and deliver tangible results

Experience influencing, negotiating, building consensus and making key strategic decisions

Experience working across all layers of the organization, particularly with cross-functional teams, in a fast-paced environment

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Technical Discipline or relevant experience; MBA preferred

The determination by HR and the Hiring Manager as to whether an offer will be lateral or promotional will be based on a candidate’s relevant experience as well as whether the role will amount to a significant increase in level of responsibility.
