Job Description

Position Summary 

Responsible for administrative functions required to support and assist the Area VP Human Resources and Group Staff members. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Interacts with corporate executives, group and divisional staff and other administrative assistants

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to the Area VP Human Resources and additional Group Staff members
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Follows policies and procedures as administered by the corporation
Assists with the preparation of monthly expense reports
Prepares safety, talent, engagement and/or other reports as requested
Prepares PowerPoint presentations and other reports/presentations/spreadsheets to support the business needs
Create reports and correspondence independently
Ability to complete many varied tasks expeditiously
Schedule and arrange rooms, catering, etc., for inter-departmental and outside meetings
Arrange travel and hotel reservations as needed
Maintain calendar(s) of appointments
Draft response correspondence for supervisor’s review
Maintain files
Back-up for other administrative assistants as neededQualifications
High School graduate with advanced degree highly preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
3-6 years of administrative experience to include organization, calendar scheduling and coordination
Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize workload
