Description:
Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Orlando, FL to perform subcontract management duties in support of the Longbow Fire Control Radar Program. This position is responsible for leading a cross-functional team accountable to all aspects of major subcontract schedule, quality and cost performance.
Duties include:
Representing the Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain Organization (GSCO) as the point of Contact (POC) for subcontracts or projects related to Longbow Program.
Managing complex subcontracts, including those with Spec / SOW-driven requirements and other specific procurements, as required.
Reporting Supplier metrics and performance to Program Leadership, Executive leadership and Customer POCs.
Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), receiving, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract prices, terms and conditions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, documenting agreements, administering resulting subcontracts / POs, including subcontract / PO closeout.
Orchestrating cross-functional dialogue and implementation of creative solutions to supplier risks or issues
Negotiating modifications to subcontracts, developing positive working relationships, and interfacing with suppliers via phone, email, Skype or personal visits, as required.
Confirming and / or expediting material deliveries to support program production dates.
Managing supplier relationships and supplier performance to achieve program and customer requirements and goals for Sales, Orders and Profit.
Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development and production contracts.
Prepares request for proposal packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Experience with LM SC Navigator
Ability to decompose and analyze supplier proposals
Capable of developing negotiation strategies for high-complexity and / or high-dollar procurements
