Responsibilities
The primary function of this position is to review status of SKU’s in the dot area, identify and prioritize orders, place orders or obtain product from stock to complete the order, place completed order in the proper staging area and enter the appropriate inventory information into the computer.
Essential Functions:
Review wok schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
Review status of sku’s in the dot area, identify and prioritize date schedule for incomplete (shorts) orders.
Obtain product to complete the order from racks, open cases and insert missing items or place orders for items not in stock from appropriate database as needed.
Seal cases, complete any related paperwork, re-label or initial and place finished orders in the proper staging areas for shipping.
Enter the appropriate inventory information into the complete database as required.
Perform utility operator tasks as needed.
Perform general housekeeping duties regarding tools and equipment in work area as needed.
At the end of shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
Must be able to process basic math computations
Must be able to learn to use the equipment required to complete picking tasks
Must be able to perform all functions of the job safely
Must complete company new hire and safety orientation
Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time
Must have working knowledge of computer and software
