Asset Management Coordinator
This position is responsible for the administration of End User Computing hardware (laptops and desktops) including asset tracking, auditing, and disposal.
Responsibilities Include:
Administration of the asset database in ServiceNow
Manages and controls the available hardware inventory
Validates user assignments and maintains the asset replacement schedule
Performs quarterly audit inventories of all Headquarters PC stock rooms
Creates and maintains hardware reporting dashboards and metrics
Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to PC Deployment Services
Identifies process improvement initiatives and collaborates with ServiceNow Application Developers as needed for implementation
Asset Disposal
Performs analysis of PC usage data to assist in the recovery of unused assets
Inventories and prepares the shipment of IT Equipment to the disposal vendor
Verifies the receipt of assets by the final recipient to ensure the proper chain of custody
Validates vendor disposal records to ensure receipt of proper documentation and hardware inventory status
Required Education and Experience: Minimum 2 Year post-secondary degree or relevant experience of 2+ years. Strong customer service and communication skills both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Education and Experience: Working in a corporate environment in an asset management or desktop support capacity. Experience with ServiceNow.
