If so, Arrow Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Solutions Manager open to locations throughout Central and Eastern Regions.  This position is a field sales support role responsible for selling services that support the production needs of Arrow’s customers. These products include PCBA’s, programming, power supplies, and top-level product manufacturing.  

 Fulfilling this responsibility will require:

Leveraging Arrow’s component sales customer relationships to identify qualified opportunities
Developing effective sales strategies that incorporate customer needs and objectives
Leading service sales activities
Closing opportunities to drive aggressive sales growth
Strong technical knowledge of contract manufacturing / electronic manufacturing services.  Familiarity, with electronics manufacturing (quality systems, plastics, metals, cables, PCB, PCBA, programming, power supplies).

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide field sales support for a full turnkey Arrow product assembly
Train Arrow’s sales organization about how to identify opportunities for services sales, the solutions selling process, their role in it, and the resources available to deliver services to their customers
Develop strong relationships within Arrow’s sales branches and serve as the technical product support expert
Identify and explain technical solutions to customers in order to build and grow sales demand
Discover new sales leads and understand customer processes, issues, and costs to determine how Arrow’s services can deliver value to customers
Leverage Arrow’s resources to develop effective service solutions and compelling proposals.  Successful solution architectures will require a detailed understanding of Arrow’s services and value proposition and the ability to creatively solve customer problems
Present proposals, provide needed clarification, overcome objections, sell the value of Arrow’s solutions and close deals

What We Are Looking For:

5-8+ of technical sales support withing EMS space
Successful contract manufacturing sales experience with a demonstrated passion to close opportunities
Strong communication and tech support skills, including the ability to identify customer problems, needs and objectives; conceptualize and articulate workable solutions and build quantitative business cases
Passion to contribute to a growing electronic space
Excited to be apart of a fast paced and upbeat environment
Strong understanding of supply chain management
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years related experience, or a combination of education and experience may substitute
Must be able to travel regionally approximately 10 -25 percent of the time
