Edina is a key manufacturing location for the water treatment business with more than 500+ employees. The Site Leader is accountable for the overall operation and all aspects of the manufacturing facility including production, maintenance, and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for environmental, safety, quality, cost, site logistics / distribution, human resources and purchasing activities.
Reporting to the Integrated Operations Leader for DuPont Water Solutions, the Edina site leader will be responsible for key performance indicators in the following areas:
EHS Performance
Quality Performance
TEEP / OEE Performance
Plant Fixed & Variable Cost Performance
Production to Plan Performance
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to -
Leads the site in the development, communication, promotion and attainment of the company’s vision.
Leads the site in promoting DuPont’s Core Values.
Manages the relationships with community and governmental agencies, ensures proper representation of the DuPont interests.
Ensures effective global collaboration within the Integrated Operations function and business, but also between functions within the country and beyond.
Creates an environment of employee engagement and trust.
Leads by example – demonstrates felt leadership and modeling the way.
Communicates Vision, Expectations, Performance, and Results internally and externally.
Leads fixed and variable cost reduction efforts, ensuring achievement of plant PO commitments.
Ensures Policy administration for the site and consistency with overall DuPont policies.

Leads fixed and variable cost reduction efforts, ensuring achievement of plant PO commitments.
Promotes and supports GMP, ISO, Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality, Continuous Improvement and cultural enhancements.

Requirements
Education: minimum BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent background
Industrial experience: 10+ years’ experience in chemical or discrete manufacturing production environments
5+ years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
Demonstrated capability to quickly understand technology and drive / support change.
Proven ability to lead cultural changes and create winning teams.
Is data driven, action oriented and works with a sense of urgency.
Fluency in English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong practical experience in project management, gained through managing large and complex projects.
Good understanding of the wider objectives of the business.
