CHS Inc., a Fortune 100 company, has a great opportunity within our Human Resource organization. We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HR Generalist) to provide HR leadership and support to multiple business units within our Country Operations division and to help support special HR projects across our department and our organization. As a member of the Country Operations HR team, you must be flexible/ nimble, serving as a strategic partner to assigned client groups, as well as support performance management, employee relations to include investigations and HR project work. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to include proven ability to build strong working relationships, the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment, in addition to be able to influence and inform management decisions.
Responsibilities
Build and cultivate solid relationships with leaders, front line managers, employees, and peers to support shared goals
Provide strategic and operational support, consulting, and coaching to leaders and employees across multiple business units and geographical locations.
Take a leadership role in working with business unit leaders to identify organization strategy and evaluating talent readiness.
Serve as the primary HR partner to support employee relations/investigations, performance management, employee engagement, and project work as assigned within the Country Operations Team.
Identify and understand the talent needs within Country Operations by partnering closely with leaders and their teams. Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to support the recruiting strategy for Operations and Leadership positions.
Lead and/or participate in various HR project work in support of business initiatives and in partnership with the corporate HR team and HR COE partners.
Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Minimum Qualifications (required)
High school diploma (or equivalent)
2+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with direct experience with people processes in the following areas: Employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, and learning and development
Direct professional experience partnering with business unit leaders to provide HR support
Professional experience supporting enterprise-wide HR projects
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or business administration
Prior experience leading investigations
Prior experience as an HR partner supporting a decentralized team of leaders and employees
Experience with Lawson, SAP, or other HRIS tools
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
