Exciting opportunity to work with INS and GPS systems! This Systems Engineer will be responsible for requirement generation, test, and analysis of GPS performance in a tightly coupled GPS/INS system. Furthermore, this Systems Engineer will be a key contributor to strategic efforts with integration of GPS by working with GPS suppliers, and understanding GPS receiver compliance with civil, and especially military standards. This task will be inclusive of being proactive and cognizant of GPS Directorate activities that potentially have an impact to the Aircraft System Product line.  The Systems Engineer will also be a major contributor to supporting algorithm development as it relates to DO-229 requirements. The Systems Engineer will be a major contributor to technical proposals and other documents and will need to have a working knowledge of INS/GPS navigation as applied to INS/GPS systems. 

The selected individual will be responsible for meeting technical schedule and cost requirements for the assigned projects as well as interfacing with both commercial and military customers in technical program definition and execution. Demonstrated experience or ability to learn LRU and Aircraft System Level integration of INS/GPS Navigation systems and associated aircraft products required. 

Proven hardware and software integration and testing experience along with strong technical communication and teaming skills are baseline for the assignment activities.

YOU MUST HAVE

·         Bachelors degree in Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering

·         20+ years experience of Navigation Experience (GPS and INS), Subject Matter Expert (SME)

·         DO-229 SME

·         DAE Integration experience

·         ADS-B Integration and Support

·         Experience with working RF Network systems and CRPA Antenna Systems

·         Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen
