The Skunk Works® is looking for an mid-career engineer experienced in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Configuration Management disciplines. The successful candidate knows how to implement and utilize disciplined technical management processes to establish and maintain the consistency of a product’s functional, physical, and performance attributes throughout its lifecycle. A Program Configuration Manager is responsible for planning and implementing configuration management across one or more programs. The ideal candidate is an emerging specialist in MBSE CM, prepared to think creatively and individually to solve complex problems.

This Mid Career position (Typically 3-5 years’ experience) includes the following responsibilities:

• Configuration Management processes and procedures
• Software Configuration Management Processes and procedures
• Technical Baseline Management
• Bill of Material(BOM) Maintenance
• Service Order/Bulletin Management (TCTOs, METOs, FTCs, SBs, etc.)
• Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA)

A level 3 employee Typically has 3-5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum Final Top Secret Clearance

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience.

• Experience with Configuration Management principles, requirements, and processes.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering(MBSE) methodologies, activities, and tools (Rhapsody, CAMEO, etc.)

• Experience with full Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) methodologies and tools(Xcelerator, 3DExperience(3DX), etc.)

• Experience representing Systems Engineering (SE)/Configuration Management (CM) concepts, processes, and toolsets

• Technical Baseline Lifecycle Management

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies

• Familiarity with recognized Industry Standards/Guidelines for Configuration Management (e.g., ANSI/EIA-649 and ISO 10007)

• Familiarity with Item Unique Identification (IUID) Standards(e.g., MIL STD 130N)
