The Sr System Engineer defines technical solutions and ensures alignment with targeted evolving architectural capabilities. Develops and deploys technical solutions aimed at supporting AT&Ts cloud adoption, transformation, and optimization of spend and usage. Collaborates closely with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define high-level technical solutions for various types of technology projects. Ensures that common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable; and facilitates the reuse of code, components, and proven methodologies. Ensures continual system evolution through technological strategy development and research.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
•Administration, configuration and integration of Financial Cloud Management Platform tool (CloudHealth) to extend functionality and capabilities to the AT&T enterprise cloud user base
•Management of organizational constructs, role based access controls, system configurations, technical rule management, user onboarding, adherence to AT&T Security requirements, and integrations with downstream AT&T systems.
•Technical architecture skill base to understand technical impacts of system configurations, security, user administration, etc.
•Work directly with business personnel to understand and drive technological solutioning to advance business performance and data-driven decisions.
•Understand and drive target architecture in solutions
•Refine business and technical requirements through discovery discussions
•Interact with various levels of management and cross-functional teams, providing strategic roadmaps, system evolution, and various reporting the drives system performance and adoption
•Understand project and problem management so that development teams can drive the correct solutions
•Drive optimal performance of 3rd party software development team by ensuring the highest value solutions are delivered
•Communicate data issues and potential solutions, drive business process change to support data accuracy, ensure standards are developed and implemented for data lineage, dictionaries, governance, and discoverability
•Lead/participate in project improvement initiatives based upon data analytics
•Create or lead the development of complex models to provide insights and optimize business operations
•Understand AT&T target architectural components, utilization, and implementation
•Collaborate with Chief Data Office and TechDev to deliver cross-functional solutions
Qualifications
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
•Intermediate skills in SQL, Power BI, and API integration
•Familiarity with Supply Chain systems and data
•Familiarity with AT&T target architecture components
•5+ years of relevant experience in field
