Job Description

Westlake Pipe and Fittings is looking for 2 Engineering (Mechanical or Process) students to join our team for the summer.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with the our Plant Manager and Superintendents as well as other senior level employees.

Key Responsibilities;

Work on various design and operation improvement projects

Perform theoretical analysis on various production scenarios

Engage various internal and external stakeholders and team members in completion of capital projects

Recommend process improvements and ensure compliance to
company and industry codes and standards.

Qualifications, Education & Experience;

Working towards a degree as a Mechanical Engineer from a reputable Canadian University

Will complete 3rd year of engineering as of May 2022

Must have a Valid BC Drivers License
