Department Summary
Staff Engineer – Software sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO.
Work with development teams to create build pipelines for both cloud native and legacy software and applications; work with Platform Engineering team and ops to create deployment pipelines that are triggered from new builds automatically and then deployed and promoted across all environments automatically; instrument data tracking to present time to deliver for CI/CD processes; engineer, update, and maintain Kubernetes platforms and accompanying tools in order to provide platform as a service (PaaS) to the engineering teams; help evangelize best practice for platform as a service; assist with onboarding and verification of new microservices; manage code repository projects and integrations; manage artifact repositories; and integrate tools with CI/CD.
Req’s: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test.
Rate of pay: $162,000.00
