"This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility. Relocation may be provided."

About the role:

The Core Vehicle Buy Scrum Lead is a critical servant leader member of the SAFe Agile team. In addition to facilitating daily stand up, iteration planning, iteration review and retrospective meetings, they facilitate conflict resolution and manage conversation by focusing on SAFe values of openness, honesty and respect. They will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Standardized Story Pointing and ongoing Velocity calculations across the scrum teams are expected. The Scrum Lead will coach on SAFe Agile practices and tools. They will shield their teams from outside distractions and interferences to keep the iterations and program increments on track. The Scrum Lead is expected to remove obstacles themselves or have the network to be able to do so. 

 

Additional Description

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of IT experience
1-3 years specific Scrum Master/Lead experience
Knowledge of the SAFe Agile framework and/or agile methodology
Coaching and mentoring skills
Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures
Have knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
Comprehend and accept the commitment to deliver the product on time
Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
Familiar with common development practices and Service oriented environments
Collaborative team player that demonstrates GMs cultural behaviors
Builder of relationships who believes that caring personally allows us to challenge directly
