Job Description

The Customer Systems team is looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager capable of managing multiple initiatives of varying scale and complexity. As an EPM, you will deliver solutions that support Apple customers. This EPM role will facilitate status updates across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management. In addition, they will drive day-to day program activities, system release planning, execution & risk assessments to meet overall program objectives for development projects. The successful candidate requires excellent analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills along with a passion for customer experience.

Key Qualifications

Experience with project management or product design with a focus on software products and technologies in an enterprise environment.
Experience in Audio, Video, Codec, pixel processing, with relevant software product development experience is a plus.
Experience managing software development projects and/or operational processes.
Good understanding of software development methodologies.
Strong technical aptitude, and ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
Excellent communication (written, verbal) and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
Self motivated and proactive.
Ability to work with cross functional teams, internal partners.

Description

Seeking a project manager to drive application development and operational projects. This role will be dynamic, with shifting needs depending on project prioritization. Responsibilities will include managing the software and operational project lifecycles. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, able to adjust to situations on the fly, and be able to move efficiently through projects. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate project status and needs. Additional responsibilities include: Define, manage and track development schedules and execution. Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks. Communicate status and the big picture to the project team and management. Effectively and consistently communicate overall program status. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly and efficiently. Understanding of software development and strong interest in user experience is a requirement.

Education & Experience

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
