We are looking for a talented Fuel Cell Engine Powertrain System Validation Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our #NewPower Business Unit in West Sacramento, CA / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Lead internal effort for future lab capability expansion, including Hardware in the Loop (HIL), computing capabilities with interface in Cummins CyberApps/CyberCell environment etc.
Be a product validation specialist for Fuel Cell components and powertrain.
Develop product test processes, procedures, and plans for validation of FC module, FC engine, as well as FC powertrain components and system.
Support FC validation capability addition and equipment installation with AVL and other external contractors.
Provide technical support with external contractor and AVL for lab commissioning.
Be a technical expert (user) for AVL fuel cell test equipment and hydrogen infrastructure/technologies.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
4 years of related professional experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical, automotive engineering or a related field.
Must have experience with test cell lab-based validation.
Must be familiar with test cells, data acquisition and data interpretation.
