This role in summary

As the IT Senior Manager, E-Commerce Engineering for North America, you will be responsible for leading and growing the team delivering the foundational platform for B2B and B2C eCommerce solutions. 

This role will guide a team that operates within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) agile development environment, consisting of architects, engineers, scrum masters, testers, developers, project managers, and other supporting roles. In this role, you will be expected to influence the eCommerce strategy, roadmap, platform design, and development of new capabilities supporting strategic goals. In addition, you will likely bring your digital expertise, industry connections, and technical experience to support strategic initiatives at Whirlpool Corporation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Support the delivery and demand for the Go-To-Market initiatives.
Responsible for program initiatives and department budgets, keeping aligned with finance policies.
Lead the development of roadmap strategy and demand intake for initiatives within the portfolio.
Embrace a culture of openness, trust and transparency to strengthen customer and supplier relationships.
Provide guidance to establish and maintain a strong agile culture using the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises) as the foundation.
Champion a culture of ‘built-in’  quality ensuring that design standards such as SEO, accessibility and high quality coding standards are embedded into the delivery process.
Using best-of-breed frameworks, provide and maintain a maturity assessment that challenges the team’s growth against industry standards.
Provide Lean Portfolio Management principles that align vision, strategy, business goals, funding, and capacity management practices into month-over-month operations.
Ensure the right business capabilities, features, and functionality are enabled within the digital platforms to meet the needs of business stakeholders and customers to drive tangible business value.
Ensure Go-to-Market stakeholders are engaged by providing KPIs and dashboards that share out financial performance, agile metrics, business value delivered, time-to-market, productivity and portfolio level metrics.
Proactively identify, manage, communicate, and mitigate risks and dependencies in order to help keep teams on track; escalate when needed.
Be a champion of a well-balanced team that not only delivers on objectives, but also incorporates continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation into the SAFe framework.
Attract and retain a high-performance team that keeps continuous improvement at the forefront of how solutions are delivered.
Provide everyday performance-related feedback and goals for team members through regular 1:1 meetings.
Champion and partner with DevSecOps team to ensure the foundational platform is supported with automation and CI/CD.
Monitor trends in eCommerce and digital operations, bringing best-of-breed improvements to existing technology stacks.
Collaborate with business owners, EPIC owners as needed to drive goals.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
5+ years of relevant experience building, implementing, and/or supporting large enterprise-scale eCommerce platforms.
Experience with Global Information Technology.

Preferred skills and experiences:

?????5+ years of relevant experience managing teams that provide technical capabilities to support a world-class e-commerce platform for D2C, B2B2C, & B2B.
Hands-on demonstrated experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Hands-on experience with JIRA & Confluence, with demonstrable experience using those tools to properly report out on metrics to support agile SCRUM practices at scale.
Demonstrated experience developing technical roadmaps and the subsequent financial investment plans for implementation which are aligned with business function priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills to instill a high spirit team culture and value diverse perspectives throughout the organization bringing out the best in the team.
Experience with website integration methods such as JSON, XML, Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, and APIs. 
Experience with AWS suite or GCP suite of technologies, Jenkins, and GIT.
Familiarity with SAP Hybris or equivalent enterprise-level e-commerce platform.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Cloud suite or equivalent enterprise-level content management platform.
Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and/or enterprise-level analytics platform for decision-making analysis geared towards e-commerce.
Experienced in relationship management in a virtual or face-to-face environment.
