Job Description

Responsible for performing various functions within the credit department. 

Responsibilities

•Perform credit analysis, prepare and analyze credit exposure reports, and assist in creating management reports

•Monitor credit quality of existing customers and counter-parties

•Evaluate credit quality of prospective customers and counter-parties and coordinate with Commercial and Business Development teams in crafting of credit risk mitigating measures (e.g. posting of standby Letter of Credit, Pre-pay, etc.)

•Identify and evaluate contractual rights/remedies and coordinate response to a degradation in credit quality of customer or counter-party

•Monitor Account Receivable positions and coordinate response to delinquent A/Rs with Commercial team

•Coordinate with Corporate Risk department for facilitation of posting of Stand-by Letters of Credit and drawing against posted LCs when appropriate

Position Requirements

•Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

•Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of personnel across various disciplines.

•Advanced understanding of GAAP financial statements and credit risk (leverage metric) evaluation

•Desired 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate credit, finance, accounting, or similar field

•Must be able to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and competing priorities.

•Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

•Strong analytical skills.

•Self-motivated individual who can meet deadlines and prioritize workload.

•Prior work experience in credit, specifically gas marketing, terminals, and/or crude marketing is a plus.

The company owns an interest in or operates approximately 84,000 miles of pipelines and 153 terminals.
