At AES, we’re accelerating the future of energy, together, while transforming customer experience and delivering unique customer products and solutions.  Under the direction of the Chief Customer Officer, the Customer Intelligence Lead will drive customer growth through the creation and management of programs designed to illuminate key areas of customer and market opportunity. By leveraging data to understand and advance customer outcomes, the Customer Intelligence Lead will empower a variety of teams and initiatives across AES with the goal of driving optimized and meaningful new business for AES and its customers.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver actionable data insights through a robust Global Voice of Customer program including global performance and market, product specific insight surveys

Deliver data-enabled relationship diagnostics to enhance AES’ go to market strategies including addressable market, segmentation, strategic relationship tiers, targets and commercial KPI’s

Deliver competitive market and product research that provides actionable insights to product owners, commercial team, and new solutions champions

Prepare executive and customer communications materials using data visualization and storytelling through data

Oversee key customer data focused systems and programs to ensure production of meaningful insights and strategy inputs

Work collaboratively across functional and market-based teams to incorporate and leverage local insights into all work products

Qualifications:

MBA or Masters degree strongly preferred; Bachelors degree required

2-5 years of experience leveraging strong analytical skills to inform business decisions, or recent Masters program graduate

Proven experience managing complex projects to completion

Strong attention to detail

Effective time management – turns final state deadlines into achievable milestones and ensures all stakeholders meet established milestones

Strong proficiency in commercial systems (e.g. CRM, Salesforce, other commercial systems)

Ability to influence using data

Strong communication and influencing skills

Ability to see the big picture and contribute to strategy development while also working in the details
