BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY 

The Fleet Coordinator assists in the management of the operation and maintenance of the organization’s motor vehicles. Develops, implements, and oversees Devon's vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance program. The long-range goal is to develop a complete vehicle management program and optimize vehicle expenses. 

EDUCATION 

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in applicable field is preferred 

EXPERIENCE 

Requires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience in Fleet & Facility Maintenance 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Develop and implement vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance program for fleet vehicles assigned to the BU
• Maintain pool vehicles, coordinate for vehicle wash support, oil change support, vehicle repairs and towing
• Maintain basic issue tools for new Lease Operators
• Maintain records, issue out and schedule maintenance and repairs on BU ATVs and trailers
• Responsible for maintaining vehicle records and licensing 
• Assist the Fleet manager and BU leadership in coordinating the purchase and sales of fleet vehicles 
• Create and provide financial metrics to business units/divisions for budget purposes 
 Provide input as required annual preliminary capital expense budget for vehicle purchases and assist business units/divisions with their annual maintenance and repair operating cost budgets 
• Oversee compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet 
• Provide consultation to business unit/division personnel and others concerning vehicle maintenance, repairs, and life cycle; respond to inquiries, resolve issues, provide detailed and technical information regarding related laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures 
• Responsible for developing and maintaining productive relationships with vendors, service providers, management, and company employees 
• Some travel required
• Coordinate for general and preventive maintenance on facilities and facility sub systems
• Create and maintain a digital filing system for all facility maintenance records
• Operate forklift to load and offload material, coordinate maintenance on forklift as needed
• Pick up/Sort/Deliver mail
• Prepare and ship materials vis FEDEX
 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred 
• Practice safe work habits at all times

• Strong customer service skills 
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 
• Able to work within a team environment 
• Able to lift heavy and/or bulky objects 
• Must be physically able to stand, walk and push/pull carts frequently 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Knowledge of postage and inserter machines 
• Knowledge of design and pre-press software  
• Strong knowledge of Helpdesk processes and business operations 
• Position requires ability to operate company vehicle
