Management Intern you will be responsible for:

• Participation in the development, planning, and execution of project(s) with complex technical features.  
• Contribute to various aspects of project work related to Manufacturing and Supply Chain on clinical chemistry assay product development teams.  
• Working with a team to ensure that the transfer of new products into Manufacturing is done using the best manufacturing standards to ensure only the highest quality products are released to our clients. 
• Working in a cross-functional team environment achieve project objectives.  
• Participating in manufacturing support projects to address process or supply chain issues that impact production or quality.  This will entail participating troubleshooting activities as necessary to determine the root cause for failures and identify, implement and verify corrective actions.

• Understanding/knowledge of:
• Basic chemistry/laboratory techniques
• Understanding of chemical/biochemical processes or manufacturing technology
• Experience with or desire to learn project management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel 

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (rising junior or senior) studying Science, Engineering or Technology fields
• Strong functional utilization of MS Office products coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills
• High degree of personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Must have a GPA of 3.2 or better
• Must be comfortable working onsite while adhering to company-mandated COVID-19 safety protocol, as well as work in a fully virtual environment if necessary
• Must be local to the Newark, DE site (50 miles or less)

Start date: It is anticipated that this role will at least occupy 2-3 months in the Summer 2022 and there is the prospect that the Intern relationship can extend beyond the Summer months into the school year.
