This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Medical Imaging Physics Intern you will be responsible for:

• You will participate in experimental activities in a PET/MR laboratory, measuring photon attenuation in different materials
• You will perform PET/MR image reconstruction and analysis and quantitative comparison of images obtained with different reconstruction methods. 
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers
• You have strong interest in experimental physics and medical imaging 
• You have good computer programming skills  

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s (rising junior or senior) or master’s degree program studying physics, sciences, or similar
• You have some background and have attended courses in medical imaging 
• You have some background and have attended courses in radiation physics
• You must have a GPA of 3.2 or better
• You must be comfortable working onsite while following company-mandated COVID-19 safety protocol, as well as be comfortable working in a virtual environment if necessary
