Basic Function
Reporting to the Manager Region Sales, the District Sales Manager will be responsible for the soliciting and gaining of new commercial and industrial lubricant sales through the contracted distributor network in the Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota (MN/WI/ND) region. This position is also responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship between HollyFrontier and the distributor, including developing strategic plans, conducting regular business reviews with distributor management and product forecasting. This role will also be responsible for recruiting new distributors to further develop and upgrade the distributor network.
Job Duties
Grow profitable sales through contracted distributors
Increase share of wallet with contracted distributors through conversion of competitive business
Develop annual strategic business plans including key tactical actions
Conduct regular business reviews with distributor management to gain further engagement and alignment
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion
Experience
Business to business (B2B) sales experience
Experience selling through the distributor channel
Strong technical experience
Experience within the lubricants or oil and gas industry is preferred
Education
Post-secondary education required however, a combination of education and experience may be considered
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work Conditions
This position requires the incumbent to operate from his/her home office within the assigned region (MN/WI/ND)
This position will require coverage of the assigned region of Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota
Vehicle reimbursement program is provided
This position includes both base salary as well as annual bonus target
Travel will be required to manage and grow the sales territory
Relocation assistance will not be provided
