Job Description

What you’ll do:

You’re inquisitive, insightful, inclusive and influential. You’re the new face of recruiting who knows how to work with hiring managers to assess what they really need and then recommend the best candidates who can fill both the immediate role and lead our company into the future. We’re creating Recruiting 2.0, where you’ll actively seek and assess mid- to senior-level candidates with the skills and leadership competencies to learn and grow on the job. Whether counseling hiring managers, pouring through applications, searching LinkedIn or building networks in the marketplace to find hidden talent, you’re able to match the right person, for the right job, right now and for the future.

Who you are:

Inquisitive, confidently creating a dialogue with hiring managers where you can ask them the probing questions that go beyond the surface to reveal the skills needed for a position; being willing to learn by asking them for information to expand your knowledge.
Insightful, having in-depth conversations with candidates and using behavioral-based interviewing techniques to assess them for their skills, areas of opportunity and determine if they demonstrate the leadership competencies we seek.
Influential, identifying candidates’ strengths, growth potential and blind spots and guiding hiring managers to make the best decisions.
Forward thinking, going beyond assessing candidates for the current opening, but also uncovering that golden nugget of information that will help hiring managers ensure the candidate’s success in the first three to six months, and in the future.
Bold, confidently engaging as equals with higher-level managers, asking probing questions and providing direct answers to their questions.
Inclusive, putting hiring managers and candidates at ease during conversations in a way that encourages them to speak candidly/openly and authentically.

Your responsibilities:

Trusted consultant: Using your insight and industry knowledge, you’ll work with hiring teams and advise them on how to best define and describe new roles and assess potential candidates needed to fill them.
Facilitator: Bringing a diverse group of managers to the hiring table to gain the wisdom of the crowd, asking the right questions and facilitating the conversation to get the best outcome.
Expert advisor: Researching the current job market, competition and industry trends, enabling you to exceed expectations on a search. You make the hiring process a learning experience for yourself and the hiring manager.
Groundbreaker: Using creative techniques to actively find and recruit candidates for new-to-the-industry, difficult-to-fill positions.
Star finder: It’s one thing to source a candidate. It’s another to separate the good from the great and bring them into the company.

Qualifications:
What you must have:

College degree: Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, I/O psychology or related area. Master’s degree a plus.
Proven track record: Success in managing full-cycle recruitment in a corporate setting, ability to ensure a diverse candidate flow and fill requisitions with quality hires on a timely basis.
Industry awareness: Solid experience with active and passive recruiting techniques, including utilizing LinkedIn and other social networks. Ability to think outside the box for targeted selection and creative sourcing. Development of key boolean search terms.
Communications skills: Strong written and verbal skills to provide hiring managers with clear and concise assessment against our leadership competencies.
Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and applicant tracking systems and social media
