HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Project Management – You’ll be a key ingredient to our success! You will be leading and directing continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment and production systems. You will be ensuring effective execution of projects by meeting program objectives, project budgets and schedules. Collaboration is important with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, plant operations teams, and quality teams.
Strategy & Scorecards – You will be partnering with global engineering to deploy corporate technical business strategies that align them with plant strategies and performance goals. You will be establishing and ensuring achievement of all function-specific Key Performance Indicators and KWS continuous improvement efforts. Capital project plan for 5 years with plant and business unit alignment. Works across network to understand local plants, projects, and synergies to develop and deploy best or successful practices. Gather project requests from each functional area and prioritize/evaluate timing and scope (Quality & Food Safety, Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Maintenance, Operations, CLS, Security, etc.)
Budget Management – You will be committed to having an owner’s mindset in this role, and financial success plays a big part. You will be managing, preparing, and justifying expenses and capital budgets for the Engineering & Facilities department.
Lead Sustainability - Partner and work cross functionally with EHS on Sustainability metrics and defining both capital and expense projects to achieve goals. Single point of contact for plant sustainability program targets and metrics. Lead with regulatory agencies for compliance in sustainability
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or significant experience in related area
Comprehensive managerial and technical background in a related field or role
Project management, communication, budgeting, and excellent human relations skills
Management experience in a technical capacity
Bonus Points:
Knowledgeable in all state and appropriate utilities operations
Experience with Allen Bradley software
Experience in a union environment
