GLOBAL SITE ACQUISITION LEAD

You can work both dependably and interdependently across ambiguous situations. You possess the expertise and background necessary to evaluate optimal infrastructure supply options and solutions. You have a demonstrated ability to negotiate multimillion-dollar contracts from a business and technical perspective.
You also demonstrate the ability to think strategically about the telecom business, the global real estate environment, and technical challenges to build compelling strategy value propositions. Ideally, you have experience negotiating various telecommunications contracts with carriers nationally and globally

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution of the site infrastructure plans for telecommunications infrastructure locations
Build, onboard, and manage a team of Technical Business Developers, Network Acquisition Managers, Program Managers, and Analysts
Identify and potentially manage suppliers and develop technical and commercial solutions that solve for site vetting, environmental compliance, site permitting for the subject land locations
Determine key telecommunications providers, determine site feasibility based on telecommunications topography, negotiate contracts with telecommunications carriers for easements, colocation leasing, and telecommunications services
Responsible for domestic and international business partnership engagements
Develop internal team processes and systems to streamline global partnerships, site acquisition, and business contracting
Coordinate site acquisition work across all contracting, legal, regulatory, engineering, and technician teams
Collaborate and advise on domestic and international business strategy to inform and report KPI to stakeholders
Develop standardized customer interface documents, presentations, reporting dashboards and protocols
Organize contractual, legal, and regulatory review of telecommunications infrastructure sites
Prepare and organize domestic and international regulatory body licensing paperwork with the internal regulatory team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Business or Engineering degree (mechanical/electrical engineering, finance, or business degree) or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience leading business development, procurement of highly engineered products or services, and participation in complex business transactions
6+ years experience in site acquisition
4+ years telecommunications background
5+ years of real estate industry experience
Proven infrastructure negotiation (Data Center/Fiber/Land/Transit) and partner/business development and/or program/product management experience in an infrastructure environment
5+ years as a people management experience
Ability to prepare, review and negotiate global deal structures
Ability to negotiate complex legal agreements, terms, and conditions in conjunction with legal counsel
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Certified in program management
Ability to prepare, review and negotiate global deal structures across a global team
2+ years of regulatory experience
2+ years of experience deploying sites with significant telecommunications infrastructure.
Strong telecom infrastructure knowledge
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver results expediently with a high sense of urgency
Self-starting, able to identify areas for improvement with minimal direction
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
Skilled at sales, or eager to learn
