Job Description

Position Purpose:

Provides general diagnostic x-ray examination and development to serve the hospital’s patient population.

Job Requirements:

(Education, Skills, Abilities, License, Certification, Registration)

AART board certification or board eligible required
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
General equipment lifting up to 40 pounds
Patient based heavy lifting may be necessary
Awkward body positioning including bending and/or stooping for the purpose of successfully completing patient x-ray examinations
Must maintain Registry and evidence of (AMA/JCAHO approved) credits of continuing education. Twenty-four credits in 24 months as required by the ASRT/ARRT
Working knowledge of maintaining a digital imaging library
Working knowledge of imaging processes CR/DR and PACS preferred
