Tokio Marine HCC – Casualty Group has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager, located in our Sacramento Offices. This position offers a hybrid work culture, with 4 days in the office, and 1 day remote. 

The Casualty Group, a member of Tokio Marine HCC, consists of Primary Casualty, Excess Casualty and Artisan Contractors. With more than 250 years of combined underwriting experience, the Casualty Group creates customized casualty products for sophisticated liability buyers. Artisan Contractors offers general liability, excess liability and property coverage designed to meet the needs of small artisan contractors.

As a critical member of our team, here's what you'll be doing:

Learn department underwriting procedures from underwriting manual
Learn to process endorsement requests and complete requests in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing brokers
Develop new relationships with brokers
Communicate with Brokers, within scope of ability, to answer questions, explain decisions, and build and maintain productive relationships. Respond appropriately and in a timely manner to service requests. Refer problems to appropriate person
Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
Assist department in meeting annual company goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production.

What we'd like for you to have:

4 year Bachelor's Degree in a a related field, or equivalent experience
2 years of relevant commercial insurance experience
Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
