The Manufacturing IT Site Lead will plan and set the technology direction for the Thousand Oaks IT team as it relates to the Thousand Oaks, California, USA manufacturing plant. Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions. Manage all activities of internal/external resources within the group. Assure strategic and tactical plans are developed and achieved.  Responsible for budget commitments and forecast.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the Thousand Oaks IT team, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate strong business knowledge, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle highly complex problems, possess extensive knowledge of policies, standards and procedures, have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Provide direct supervision including mentoring, performance management and staffing decisions.
Engage in strategic initiatives, planning process, and making technology recommendations to increase operational value for the Biologics Operating Unit.
Participate in development of the Global IT vision.Responsible for translating the vision into short and long term goals and deliverables. Support all IT transformational initiatives and apply to existing priorities.
Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules. Ability to communicate priorities driven from Global IT to plant level senior leadership.
Maintain and manage a compliant GxP environment. Review multiple team, group, or service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to processes, standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in all internal and external audits and provide services in a timely manner.
Foster a collaborative environment for mentoring, learning, and innovation to help develop employees.
Create and manage both Capital and Operational budgets.
Knowledge of application development, implementations, and end user experience.Participate in infrastructure decisions and ensure adherence to global corporate standards.
Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics. Create operational mechanisms to ensure a steady environment.
Manage or participate on projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive technical knowledge within a complex, GxP manufacturing facility, executive presentation skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
10+ years of systems experience including 4+ year of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in a Sr Business Partner role.
Bachelor Degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Ability to accomplish results through others; strong influencing skills.
Must have experience with software application implementations; both on-premises and in the cloud.
Must have knowledge with network infrastructure including technology stacks within a plant environment; Must know how to ensure proper GxP compliance within the infrastructure environment.
Must be able to communicate to senior level executives; individual must ensure engagement with plant leadership team.
Must be able to participate in the strategy and objective alignments with the operational leadership.
Must have collaborative work skills to partner with global portfolios and implement new initiatives.
Must create and track key performance indicators to ensure alignment with plant and global functions.
Knowledge of Lean operational techniques preferred.
Knowledge of MES implementation/ operations preferred.
