Specific Responsibilities
The IT Applications Analyst for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s IT Family at the company’s Houston office reporting to the Commercial Applications Supervisor.
This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
Provide technical development and functional support for Apache's Corporate Land Administration systems
Interface with business teams to document and troubleshoot issues, analyze potential resolutions, and test solutions
Coordinate project and system maintenance activity across multiple systems and land functions
Create project plans, test plans, and coordinate efforts between business teams
Create and validate detailed functional specifications
Responsible for system upgrades and acceptance testing of new software releases including system configuration, testing, quality assurance and training of end users
Develop and maintain functional and technical knowledge of multiple systems across land functions
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required
Three or more years of IT and oil and gas industry experience
Knowledge of SAP and Land Systems required
Knowledge of the Quorum Land data model required
Knowledge of Quorum modules (QDO, QLA, QLS, eCalendar, QGIS and QQM) required
Experience with Quorum QDBManager is a plus
Strong people skills and business partnership orientation
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, VB, ASP.Net required
Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
