Job Description
The Industry Application Lead, as part of the Global Power and Control Center of Excellence reporting to the Portfolio Manager, is accountable for the definition and management of portfolio programs (ROK List) in the Automotive & Tire Industry.?
Under the direction of the Global Portfolio Manager, the Industry Application Lead will be part of the core industry team responsible for commercial programs and innovation investments within the Automotive & Tire industry.? Working with the Market Develop Lead, this role is responsible for increasing our offered solution set in Automotive & Tire applications and for generating productivity to make our solutions more competitive.? The Industry Application Lead will own the all the relevant application standards for their Industry or Horizontal and ensure this library is available to all regional industry subject matter experts (SMEs).?
Performance in this role will be measured by the on time, and on budget execution of innovation investments and the effectiveness of the launch and adoption of the global standards in their respective industry or application.? In addition to this, he/she will also be accountable for an Appropriate Service Level with key Commercial Stakeholders for ROM, Budgetary, and Firm proposals.? Responsiveness and ease of doing business will be two key KPIs.
Certify regional domain expertise and the regional ability to serve the focus markets.? Assist regional delivery management with setting required regional capacity to support Market Development plans
Ensure regional SMEs are familiar with current industry standards in focused applications and correctly apply such standards.
Maintain the list of acknowledged regional SMEs to ensure we have with consultative support for customers to create credibility and value such that we align and deliver mutually agreed to outcomes.
Develop and Maintain IP to support strategic industry application roadmaps for focus applications leveraging relevant platforms such as Application Code Manager, Autogen libraries, CEWs Libraries and other tools.
Lead efforts to define and estimate the effort to develop new, innovation solutions.
Direct accountability for yearly investment budgets, adoption targets and growth and/or productivity goals.
Act as an ambassador for SSB Delivery Excellence internally and externally, with a consultative mindset supporting the company’s Strategic Framework.
In conjunction with Global Delivery Excellence Managers and Regional Engineering Managers develop Annual Goals and Objectives to support Annual Operating Plan and Market Development Activities pertaining to focus industry.
Maintain and track Delivery Excellence KPIs to hold the Regional Delivery teams accountable to drive efficiency, productivity, and ensure consistent best in class solutions delivery.
Create an inclusive and transparent relationship with the Global Market Development and Strategy team and Regional Commercial Organizations.

***This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
The base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado is $114,400-$143,000 with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Technology
Ability to travel as needed for meetings, travel should not exceed 15%.? Participate in global engineering meetings annually or bi-annually and off normal work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of application experience in the Automotive & Tire industry and in large industrial systems and solutions delivery business.
Prior Lean and/or Six Sigma training and experience is highly desirable.
Experience in a Engineering Services and Solutions Selling Environment
Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and global matrix organization
Prior knowledge of control systems application
Experience with Drives, Automation, Networks
