About the Opportunity:

As a Senior Benefits Analyst, you will manage the administration of our U.S. benefit plans, workers compensation and the 401(k) retirement plan. This hands-on role ensures the smooth operation of Ceridian’s benefit programs and systems including partnering with our vendors and colleagues in HR, Finance, HRIS, Legal, Payroll, etc.
What you'll get to do:
Manage the daily operations of our US benefit, leave and 401(k) retirement plans, building relationships with our external benefits consultants, carriers, third-party administrators and internal benefits colleagues. You will also conduct recurring and ad-hoc audit processes to ensure accurate processing of benefit elections, retirement contributions, nondiscrimination testing, carrier interfaces, payroll files.
Manage full cycle benefit process of medical/RX, dental, flexible spending, vision, life, AD&D, disability, COBRA, voluntary benefits, 401(k), and workers compensation.
Primary contact for FMLA, short-term and long-term disability administration which is outsourced to a third-party administrator (TPA). Serve as liaison between TPA and employees, managers and HR Business Partners.
Lead and manage all aspects of Annual/Open Enrollment including drafting communications, updating our benefits intranet site, working with HRIS to configure and test the enrollment system, ensuring accurate processing of elections, and communication of annual changes with key vendors.
Ensure ongoing compliance with plan rules, government regulations and accurate filing of 5500s, SARs, and other required filings. Responsible for annual ACA compliance and reporting.
Prepares and communicates information to employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures. Recommends and implements appropriate corrective action as necessary to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution of employee benefit issues/concerns
Serve as a subject matter expert for benefit initiatives and provide ongoing support, analysis and insights on benefit programs. Documents benefit processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. Lead key benefit process improvements and key initiatives. Research legal requirements, competitive market practices and trends.
Partners closely with Human Resources Business Partners and HRIS team. Conducts periodic system audits with vendors and HRIS to ensure data integrity.
Assists in managing vendor relationships for benefit plans and programs.

Skills and Experience we value:
6+ years of benefits experience including both health & welfare and 401(k).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and education (e.g. CEBS) that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit plans and programs compliance.
Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s with the ability to learn and understand requirements for all geographies.
Self-starter that takes initiative to proactively identify process challenges and suggest improvements.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including expert status in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
