Job Description
Claims Litigation Attorney
In-House counsel office located in Burbank seeks a defense attorney with at least 5+ years of litigation experience. Position provides representation to insureds and the insurer in personal injury actions and property damage lawsuits. Also includes legal representation for the Exchange to defend and/or protect its interests in first-party claims (UM/UIM), pre-litigation matters and other legal actions. Job involves responding to pleadings, discovery, conducting depositions, attending court appearances, mediations, arbitrations and trials.
Job Requirements:
J.D. from ABA-approved law school. Admission to the California State Bar. Applicant must have excellent writing, oral, and case management skills. Must be able and willing to proactively communicate with clients, claims staff and other members of Staff Counsel.
