Job Description

Summary

The Procurement Sourcing Intern will be instrumental in assisting with enterprise-wide projects to improve productivity and provide excellent customer service. This role will work with the strategic sourcing team and learn about indirect sourcing, contracting and procurement to pay systems. The intern will have the opportunity to work with multiple functional groups, assist with the RFx bidding process for software and other projects, and positively impact department process improvements which may include workflows, contract repository, categorization and end user experience.

Responsibilities

Support the strategic sourcing team with external market research and RFx:

Analyze spend category data and conduct supplier process improvement review
Work on projects for various commodities and support sourcing initiatives
Review, organize and enhance our contract repository system

Assist with source to pay process optimization:

Identify opportunities to improve the user experience

What You'll Need

Education

Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing or a related program

 
Experience

Proficient in managing and prioritizing tasks
Understand basic procurement processes

 
Skills

Sound analytical and organizational skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple RFP projects to meet critical deadlines
Seek opportunities to collaborate with various team members
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with employees and suppliers

Minimal travel

 
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.

How You'll Be Rewarded

Pay Rate in Colorado: $19 per hour

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
