Job Description:
--Evaluating a PA design
Data collection/analysis for new design
--Proposing a new PA architecture for the next generation.
Module size shrinking compared to the previous version without a performance degradation.
PAD simulation for estimating performance degradation while applying the shrunken
architecture.
PCB design to evaluate the shrunken architecture
Adding a new function block in PAD.
PAD + new function block co-simulation for checking feasibility and analyzing its upside /
downside.
PCB design to evaluate.
--New epi / process investigation. (HBT device / IPD process)
Device / PAD simulation for estimating performance with the new epi,
Device structure counter-proposal based on the simulation / evaluation data.
PCB design to evaluate the new epi.
5G specification study and coming up with the PAD strategy.
Required skills:
ADS (Keysight)
Analog IC design
Basic knowledge about RF test parameters & input matching & components & instruments
(Network & Spectrum Analyzer)
Hands on experience of RF testing equipment and calibration
RF IC design
RF test and measurement
Virtuoso (Cadence)
Education:
PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
with 3+ years related work experience.
