What you will do
• We align with State and Federal and Newmont Policies and Procedures regarding Safety and Environmental regulations and standard methodology.
• We troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment and machinery related to process operations i.e. Mill, ADR, Crusher etc.
• We maintain systems and plants and perform different types of repairs as vital.
• We replace, align and rebuild various belts, motors, pulleys, pumps and other mechanical components.
A Trainee candidate must be able to learn the following principles:
• Lockout/Tagout/Tryout(LOTOTO)
• Hand, Power & welding tool identification along with fastener Identification,
• Operate mobile equipment (Forklifts, Reach forks, Light vehicles)
• Identify Mills, Pumps, Screens, Compressors, Cyclones, Tanks, Conveyors, Feeders & magnets.
• Identify and explain safety pull cords, visual and audible alarms.
• Identify basic rigging tools (Lever hoist, slings, shackles, eyebolts)
• Basic understanding of hand tools, their uses and safe handling practices
• Basic computer skills (email, website, drives and CMMS)
