The Special Attestation Reporting Manager is responsible for all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients who receive SOC reports. Responsibilities primarily include planning, directing, managing, and reviewing SSAE 18/SOC 1, SOC 2, AT 101, and AT 601 attestation engagements primarily for healthcare technology clients and financial services technology clients. Activities will include reviewing testing results, developing and supervising staff members, assisting in client management and practice development activities, and assisting in recruiting activities. The SAR Manager is responsible for an assigned group of clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards, quality of delivery, and strict client confidentiality.
Scope, plan, manage, direct, and monitor client service teams on multiple SOC engagements (SSAE 18/SOC 1, SOC 2, AT 101, and AT 601).
Perform client billing, manage engagement budgets, and staff engagements.   
Supervise, train, mentor, and assess performance of staff members and manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews. Coach staff members in developing and achieving goals and objectives for performance and professional development.
Review audit programs, test scripts, working papers, and SOC reports.
Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure client satisfaction, ensure deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively. 
Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and prepare the necessary information and documentation to facilitate the communication of the identified opportunities to the management team and client management.
Develop strong relationships with client contacts by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business and industry and communicating any client needs, control exceptions, or project issues to the partner and client in a timely manner.
Proactively interact with key client management and the partner to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements. Maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services within your assigned group of clients. 
Assist partners on proposals and business development calls.
Assist partners on recruitment efforts.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, and/or Business Administration.
A minimum of five to seven years of experience in an Advisory Services function or in a similar practice or function with a Public Accounting, Consulting firm, or compliance/internal audit function.
Strong understanding of network architecture, hosting and cloud environments, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment.
Strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel on a regular basis to clients sites as required.
A professional certification (CISA, CPA, CIA, CISSP, etc.) required
