Executes the strategic and operational aspects of Truist's corporate real estate portfolio and space utilization at the regional level. Provide strategic direction on positioning the portfolio to meet key corporate objectives. Role impacts overall teammate and client experience and is significant in managing Truist's overall occupancy expense.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time.  

1. Responsible for regional real estate portfolio planning, real estate transactions, project management, tenant leasing, and property disposition. Average portfolio includes 250+properties/4MM sq ft.

2. Leads a team of professional-level contributors as well as outsource providers, architects, and other real estate vendors.

3. Serves as internal partner (Client Relationship Manager) with Business leaders to ensure real estate strategies and business priorities are aligned.

4. Leads complex real estate initiatives in driving overall CREW financial performance. 

5. Focus is on long-term operational planning and performance. 

6. Directs resource allocation for programs, projects, or services at the regional level. 

7. Partners with Strategy team to develop Regional level portfolio plans.

8. Partners with leadership and peers to identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges, and establishes long-term solutions for continuous improvement.

9. Represent Truist in Real Estate professional organizations and associations

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in real estate, asset management, or workplace planning or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

2. Demonstrated proficiency developing real estate teams or programs to achieve operational and financial results. 

3. Extensive knowledge of business and organizational strategies and management objectives. 

4. Ability to lead large highly complex projects of notable risk exposure. 

5. Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective. 

6. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry. 

7. Experience leading a team of professional-level contributors. 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree or MBA and 12 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 

2. Banking or financial services experience.

3. Relevant real estate industry certifications (e.g. CCIM)
