Job Description

Our longstanding, well-established Emerging Professionals Mentor Program is thoughtfully designed to develop competencies and clinical reasoning skills through a rigorous six month program for entry level Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy practitioners.  This program is designed specifically for recent graduates who wish to establish a broad clinical knowledge base during their first few critical years in the field. The program assists new and novice clinicians to become successful in an environment that promotes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and lifelong learning. Exceptional clinicians, passionate about the older adult population, receive mentoring and training for geriatric specific clinical skills, administrative tasks including documentation, and fulfillment of professional roles.

Requirements:

Must have valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to apply
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Applicants must possess basic computer literacy skills
Prefer at least one year experience, as well as prior expertise and/or comfort working in a home-based setting.
Entry level clinicians passionate and committed to a career with older adults are welcome to apply to this position through our widely recognized and established Emerging Professionals New Grad Mentor Program
Current CPR certification
Exceptional patient service delivery, outstanding interpersonal skills, and consistent ability to demonstrate clinical excellence, as well as desire to develop professionally
