Develop and execute the US internal communications strategy for the year, including directions for each channel such as emails, newsletters, Yammer, live updates etc, approach and key messages for overall communications, priorities, and processes.
Act as an advisor, supporting internal clients from US SBU with strategic and tactical plans to leverage communications needs according to each area such as HR, Safety, Commercial, Legal, Strategy, etc.
Develop and execute the US internal communications editorial calendar, interacting with local stakeholders to map and develop a strategic and cohesive annual agenda for Arlington Office, US Utilities and AES Clean Energy.
Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications promotional and awareness campaigns to attend key areas from US SBU, including general celebrations such as holidays and key dates for the SBU.
Develop content to support channels such as emails, SharePoint sites, Yammer as well as multimedia communications to support awareness and promotional campaigns such as speeches, talking points, videos, etc.
Execute US newsletters, creating content, writing articles and formatting final layouts.
Manage the US social media (Yammer), following metrics and developing an adoption plan to increase the number of active members.
Partner closely with all global communicators to build and cultivate a strong relationship globally.
Support internal communications global events such as Safety Pause, Safety Day, Values Day and Live Broadcasts, providing inputs, content, referring people to participate and reviewing data from the US SBU.
Keep the US distribution list updated in the email system.
Manage vendors execute internal communications campaigns if needed.
