SMART SPECIALIST - DELI

This position is intended to perform all the necessary transactional requirements for Siebel (trade spending software application) for the assigned sales agents (sales managers, account managers and brokers).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies and resolves any discrepancies in the documentation of trade related events, to minimize the financial impact to Deli.
Enter Half 1 (H1) and Half 2 (H2) promotions for assigned customers and planning accounts in Siebel.
Performs all required update changes to promotional entries in Siebel.
Collects performance documentation as required by the Trade Policy for each promotional event.
Serves as the primary contact for the Service Center in resolving discrepancies in customer deductions and payment requests.
Updates the actual volume of each promotional event in the template.
Performs a variety of other routine sales-related and administrative activities as assigned including scheduling travel.
Provides backup for Executive Administrative Assistant-Deli. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Demonstrated pattern of initiative.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
Well developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proven customer service experience.
Proven ability to make independent decisions and work under minimal supervision.

Preferred
Experience with Hormel Decision Support (HDS), HighRadius, and Siebel/SMART Trade Management.
Post high school accounting classes or accounting related experience.
