SUMMARY

Working with general supervision, the Store Counts Analyst maintains the Physical Inventory Schedule, analyzes and posts Inventory results to Corporate Systems and reports results out to Field Partners. The role is characterized by a basic level of scope, moderate level of complexity, and a basic level of independent decision making.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Set annual Physical Inventory Schedule.
Work with field partners on monthly adjustments to Physical Inventory Schedule.
Maintain vendor partnership with count hardware vendor.
Ensure all needed materials needed for inventories are send on time.
Report inventory results out to field partners.
Analyze shrink trends present in inventory results.
Maintain data consistency across multiple platforms
Complete ad-hoc analysis, reporting or special projects when requested.
Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization in conjunction with GameStop’s respectful workplace policies.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business administration, inventory control, accounting or related field from an accredited program preferred
At least 1-2 years of inventory control experience recommended.
SQL Query writing preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Proficient written/verbal communication and presentation skills using spoken English.
Proficient ability to meet demanding, evolving and potentially overlapping deadlines through proficient contingency planning
Ability to work collaboratively with others; conducts working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel, Access and Outlook
Understand and accurately follow policies, procedures and controls
Work as scheduled to meet standards of company attendance policy
Recognize discrepancies in reports; research the source and plan a solution.
Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
