Overview

The Director of Corporate Systems will be an integral leader and contributor responsible for the maintainance and improvement of Lennar’s corporate financial systems, JD Edwards ERP implementation and ServiceNow platform.  The Director of CS will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment with many moving pieces and tight deadlines. The incumbent has full responsibility for financial applications development, administration, security, and operations teams and the integration of financial & corporate systems with other platforms and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Leverage deep functional knowledge around financial & corporate systems and processes to execute business strategy.
Provide clear and concise priorities in alignment with the strategic vision of the company.
Provide leadership in defining financial systems strategy, maintainance of financial & corporate platforms and products, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
Ensure corporate systems meet reliability and performance standards necessary for meeting business objectives

Provide expertise in implementation of technology solutions for cybersecurity, financial information management, financial risk management, compliance, governance, controls, and regulation.

Improve associate experience with the applications and drive productivity based on platform & capability use.
Serve as the active leader of the JDE and corporate financial products working with multiple vendors/consultants and resources on the successful delivery of our financial platform.
Accountable for ensuring resource allocation in alignment with timeline and deliverables.
Accountable for leading multiple teams responsible for the designing, coding, integration and overall production maintenance of corporate systems
Manage and direct teams that comprise of associate salaried employees, local contractors, project consultants and offshore resources.
Responsible for the budget & license management of corporate systems.
Responsible for the continuation of building on the Lennar Corporate culture by interviewing and hiring resources that meet the skill set needed for the organization.
Build and manage cross department relationships to drive improvements to platforms and capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters Degree or multiple certifications preferred.
12+ years of IT experience including minimum 8 years experience in management or leadership of financial application teams in complex technology environment.
5+ years recent experience leading or managing a team with JD Edwards One World or Enterprise One and related processes or similar ERP system.
Cloud-based, Enterprise Application management experience is required.
Mastery of technology solutions delivery, relationship management, and project governance is required.
Experience with one or more JDE / similar ERP implementations is required.
Prefered experience beyond financial systems including shared corporate systems such as ServiceNow
Knowledgeable on Master data management, database technologies, SQL, and data analytics.
Must have experience leading software development projects and the ability to deliver projects on time and in budget.
Must be able to understand architecture concepts as it relates to ERP and cloud services.
Must have leadership experience, strong communication and analytical skills
Must have experience building, maintaining and enhancing development teams.
Agile background preferred.
