The CSR Operations position works with the outbound team(s) to facilitate day-to-day operations as directed by the Supervisor. The primary focus of this position would be to provide value to the customer through expediting shipments. This will be accomplished through working with Wave Planners, Team Leads, Welcome Center associates and others to ensure that priorities are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Support the TL and LTL departments in expediting outbound shipments.
Work with Wave Planners and Team Leads to ensure that shipments are prioritized correctly.
Pull reports as needed from various systems.
Organize paperwork and information to allow for clear understanding and direction of priority.
Update spreadsheets and reports as required.
Coordinate the relocation of trailers as needed to support the business.
Coach and assist with associates understanding of their job functions.
Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
Utilize email and other communications systems to coordinate outbound activities across departments.
Must be safety minded and work diligently to maintain safe working conditions by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and daily overtime as required.
Regular and reliable attendance at work.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Perform other picking/outbound functions as needed.
Perform Wave functions as needed.
Must adhere to all established policies, work instructions, and SOPs.
Maintain a clean and professional image.
Assist with ensuring the cleanliness of the facility.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately.
Report any suspicious persons or activity.
Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions.
Assist as required.
Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
Maintain current status in C2C training modules.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Good verbal communication skills.
Moderate data entry skills.
Ability to work in SAP, Dlog, Manhattan and other systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
General distribution knowledge.
The position will sometimes have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment and exposure to precarious situations.
H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in shipping, (preferred).
