Job Summary

Oversees intelligent business automation and digitization projects involving automating, streamlining, and/or enhancing business processes. Maintains and uses automated robotic and digital technologies to assess current processes and develop recommended solutions. Facilitates work sessions to develop business cases and guides business representatives/project teams in defining and describing requirements of the automation solution. Provides advanced guidance on end-to-end business processes, data interpretation and metric analysis.  Leads, mentors or coordinates less experienced analysts and team members. Span of control: 0; individual contributor.

Key Accountabilities

Oversees process assessments to define end-to-end business processes and workflow steps using automated robotic and digital technologies and input from business process owners
Establishes project requirements by meeting with key stakeholders and facilitates working sessions to elicit program features/requirements
Oversees complex projects with team members to validate project requirements and works with stakeholders to ensure that automation delivered solutions meet business unit needs
Develops the end-to-end business process and documents the workflow steps at a cursory level in solution design documents to allow for automation
Converts project requirements and specifications into developable and testable features
Collaborates with leadership to resolve problems and develop automation recommendations
Solicits input from project managers, process subject matter experts and stakeholders in developing detailed process flow, assumptions documentation, and business requirements
Develops, monitors, and maintains project plans and documents, including project components in accordance with organizational standards and processes
Oversees projects of moderate to high complexity that may involve one or more business partners, interfaces and/or systems across multiple processes
Provides advanced guidance on industry best practices

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or engineering discipline and 8 years of experience with business process and/or system analysis, inclusive of 2 years leading projects and/or teams

Other Qualifications

Preferred:

Experience in creating process designs and standardizing processes
Experience with business platform technology and applications (e.g., Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Digitization Platforms, Systems Applications and Products (SAP), etc.)

 

Other Requirements:

Thorough understanding of office software and applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Effective communicate skills with the ability to influence and build relationships and foster a positive work environment
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives and recommend optimal solutions
Effective organizational and planning skills
Ability to multi-task (e.g., prioritize and manage multiple tasks, issues or projects that may include high-visibility initiatives and require innovation, teamwork and planning)

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams across multiple areas/business units
